Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Experienced ICT Teacher to join our academic team at Collins American International Academy. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop digital literacy, technical proficiency, and problem-solving skills while preparing them for the demands of a technology-driven world.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging ICT lessons across multiple levels, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards
• Design and implement lesson plans that integrate theory with practical applications
• Teach core ICT concepts such as computer systems, programming, networking, databases, and emerging technologies
• Incorporate digital tools and e-learning platforms to enhance teaching and learning
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations
• Provide individualized support to students with varying levels of ICT proficiency
• Stay updated on ICT trends and integrate them into classroom instruction
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-disciplinary projects and initiatives
• Promote responsible digital citizenship and online safety practices
• Contribute to extracurricular ICT activities such as coding clubs, robotics, or competitions

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Teaching qualification or certification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
• Minimum of 1–3 years teaching experience in ICT or related subjects
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving student success
• Experience with e-learning platforms and digital classroom tools
• Industry experience in ICT or computing (preferred but not mandatory)

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of ICT curriculum and emerging technologies
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly
