About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Travel Manager and Team Lead to oversee our Europe, UK, and Canada operations. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in the travel industry who can lead teams of travel counselors and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and purpose of travel
- Provide expert guidance on destinations, routes, travel packages, and visa requirements
- Plan and coordinate comprehensive travel itineraries for clients
- Provide accurate information on visa application procedures and requirements
- Assist clients in gathering, completing, and submitting supporting documentation
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent follow-up and excellent customer service
- Address inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide after-travel support
- Manage and lead a team of travel counselors to achieve departmental goals
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless operations
- Uphold organizational standards, ethics, and customer service principles
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or HND in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in the travel industry (not as a ticketing officer)
- Proven experience as a travel manager
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve set goals
- Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and industry practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
