Position Overview

Role Description

The Production Officer will work with the Production Pharmacist to oversee daily production activities, ensuring compliance with quality control standards and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing processes and maintain compliance with quality control standards
• Address production challenges and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain updated and accurate production documentation
• Implement and promote safety practices across production areas
• Optimize production efficiency and identify process improvements
• Assist in training initiatives to maintain high operational standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field
• 0–3 years post-NYSC experience
• Basic understanding of Quality Control and its application in production processes
• Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and processes
• Strong research skills to analyze and optimize production methods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent work ethic
• Openness to learning and ability to work effectively in teams
