Engineering - Rig Supervisor III at ABNL Limited

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking talented professionals. As Rig Supervisor III, you will represent the company on rig sites to support the safe and efficient execution of well plans. You will serve as the primary contact for rig and third-party personnel, ensuring logistics for personnel, equipment, and services are appropriately organized and managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the company on rig sites to support safe and efficient execution of well plans
• Communicate expectations regarding safety, security, health, and environment (SSHE); provide guidance and support for managing SSHE events
• Communicate operational system expectations on rig sites
• Monitor rig operations and provide feedback to rig contractors to ensure well control procedures are properly followed and emergency situations are appropriately managed
• Ensure safety, operational, environmental, security, and other drills are conducted on site at specified frequencies
• Ensure drilling and completion procedures are followed as approved; utilize management of change processes when changes are required
• Order and organize logistics for services and equipment necessary for efficient drilling and completion operations
• Support onsite surveillance requirements including kick detection, abnormal pressure detection, torque and drag monitoring, mud properties analysis, and solids control efficiency
• Generate accurate and adequate operations reports
• Interface with engineering and geology teams to ensure understanding of well objectives and procedural requirements
• Serve as primary contact for rig and third-party personnel regarding logistics coordination

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in rig supervisory or rig leadership roles for drilling and completion operations
• Experience working for a major Operator or Drilling Contractor
• Current Well Control certification
