ELV Technician (Extra-Low Voltage) at Museum of West African Art

About the Role

The Museum of West African Art (MOWAA) is seeking a skilled ELV Technician (Extra-Low Voltage) to join our Facilities Management team. This role is critical to ensuring reliable power, security, and technology systems that support our world-class museum facility, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, PA/voice evacuation, and structured cabling
• Support exhibitions with AV/multimedia setups
• Troubleshoot faults and perform preventive maintenance with minimal downtime
• Monitor and record power meter readings to track energy usage, detect abnormalities, and support efficient power management
• Monitor systems via BMS/control room and ensure compliance with safety and security standards

Required Qualifications

• SSCE/OND/HND/BSc in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with ELV systems in critical facilities
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, fire alarms, networking basics, and cabling
• System certifications (Honeywell, Bosch, Siemens, etc.) are an advantage
