## Title: Electrical Sales Engineer

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a skilled Electrical Sales Engineer to join Alfred & Victoria Associates in Lagos. You will be responsible for all outdoor electrical sales, quotations, and after-sales service, with a focus on growing the business through existing and new account development in the electrical sales industry.

Job Objectives

  • Drive business growth by calling on and developing an existing account base while establishing new accounts in the electrical sales industry
  • Manage all outdoor electrical sales, quotations, and post-sale customer service
  • Perform measured against new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction, and overall sales team contribution

Key Responsibilities

  • Search for new clients, respond to inquiries, and process orders
  • Contact current customers and advise on new products for up-selling opportunities
  • Match customer requirements to proposed sales solutions
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements
  • Coordinate sales projects from inception to completion
  • Prepare reports for the branch manager
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Record and maintain accurate client contact data
  • Maintain current knowledge of existing products and stay informed about new offerings
  • Provide product information, pricing quotations, and follow up on all quotes
  • Offer technical expertise and guidance on products to customers
  • Develop and maintain positive, long-term customer relationships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction across order taking, product delivery, pricing, and overall service quality
  • Liaise with sales team members and technical experts to support customer needs
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customer accounts while assessing satisfaction on completed projects and identifying future sales opportunities
  • Participate in pre-order design reviews
  • Maintain excellent customer satisfaction levels and meet all KPIs
  • Minimize company exposure to liabilities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable company standing instructions, including safety protocols
