Electrical Manager – Ibadan at Helean Global Limited

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Electrical Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of automation failures in PLCs, SCADA, sensors, transmitters, analyzers, and control loops
• Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical and automation equipment
• Support PLC programming changes, interlock logic verification, and process optimization
• Ensure reliable functioning of MCCs, PCCs, transformers, VFDs, and power distribution systems
• Review electrical and PLC wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and SCADA architecture
• Plan and maintain spares for automation hardware (PLC modules, transmitters, sensors, drives)
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians in automation fault diagnosis and safe electrical practices
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian statutory requirements and plant safety standards

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in a relevant field
• 7 years' experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within edible refinery, solvent extraction, or FMCG process industries
• Knowledge of AutoCAD to read and edit engineering drawings
• Experience in one or more of the following industries: Edible Refineries, Solvent Extraction Plants, Grain, Food and Breweries, FMCG
• Exposure to gas power plants, DG sets, boilers' control systems, WTP, ETP, and packaging line automation
