Electrical Maintenance Technician III at Habrams Energy

Main Functions

• Support field electrical maintenance work and electrical isolation (Lock Out Tag Out - LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance
• Plan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize production impact and maximize operational availability
• Report to a supervisor

Tasks and Responsibilities

In addition to Level 1 and 2 responsibilities, Level 3 technicians will:

• Work with vendors and sub-contractors as required
• Comply with Management of Change (MOC) requirements for plant modifications
• Apply skills and knowledge in a practical and efficient manner, continually seeking opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and simplification
• Comply with and promote high Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) standards, demonstrating responsibility for the safety of self and others
• Employ Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe acts
• Actively participate in responsible waste management systems
• Attend and participate in Operations morning shift meetings

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a closely related position, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Discipline-appropriate certification(s) if applicable, or equivalent professional experience
• Effective communication skills with ability to clearly and concisely describe field conditions and recommend remediation steps
• Team player who exhibits effective teamwork and willingness to assist others, even when lacking direct authority
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
