Overview

The Federal Ministry of Works is recruiting skilled artisans for the Capacity Building and On-Site Training Programme. This initiative aims to strengthen national technical capacity, empower young Nigerians, and support the delivery of critical infrastructure projects across the country.

Through this programme, participants will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and project-based exposure while contributing to the execution of ongoing Federal Government construction and infrastructure works. Eligible applicants will be deployed to contractors handling Federal Ministry of Works projects within or near their respective regions, where they will undergo structured practical training and temporary engagement.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be a Nigerian citizen aged 18 to 45 years
• Possess recognized vocational training, trade test certificates, or verifiable practical experience
• Be unemployed at the time of application
• Be physically fit for construction-related field work
• Be willing to undergo additional training, safety certification, and supervised project attachment
