Electrical Engineer at Xpedient Expatriate Services

About the Role

The Electrical Engineer will deliver in-house electrical design and provide general site supervision, ensuring that projects meet quality, cost, and timeline objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, communications) using AutoCAD and other relevant software
• Conduct general supervision of site activities not limited to electrical scope
• Monitor site progress and ensure timely execution of electrical and general construction works
• Maintain compliance with project specifications, program of work (POW), codes, and safety requirements
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, building and project teams for project integration
• Identify risks and provide timely solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns
• Submit site supervision reports with updates on timelines, risks, and compliance
• Ensure efficient resource use and quality delivery on assigned projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university
• COREN registration (mandatory)
• Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in building electrical design and general site supervision
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design tools (e.g., Revit, Dialux, ETAP)
• Good knowledge of construction codes, safety practices, and quality assurance
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills

N500,000 - N700,000 per month
