Electrical Engineer - Mantrac Nigeria Ltd, Lagos

• We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer with experience in electrical panel building to support tender handling, technical studies, project documentation, and execution. The role involves preparing technical and commercial offers, developing detailed engineering documents, and supporting ongoing projects from design to delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Tendering & Pre-Sales Support

• Review and study customer requests, RFQs, and tender documents.

• Analyze project requirements, specifications, drawings, and standards.

• Prepare technical and commercial offers in coordination with relevant departments.

• Develop work breakdown structures (WBS/WUS) and cost estimates.

• Support clarifications and technical negotiations with customers during tender stages.

Engineering & Technical Documentation

• Prepare detailed technical documentation for ongoing projects.

• Develop BOQs, wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, and layout drawings.

• Prepare panel GA drawings, internal wiring schematics, and interconnection diagrams.

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (IEC, ISO, customer specifications, etc.).

• Review and update drawings and documents based on project changes.

Project Support

• Support project execution teams with technical clarifications and documentation.

• Coordinate with procurement and production teams for material selection and ordering.

• Provide technical support during panel manufacturing, testing, and FAT.

• Assist with project documentation submission and as-built documentation.

Required Qualifications: & Requirements

• BSc/HND in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Experience in electrical panel design and manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of LV/MV panels, control panels, and power distribution systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design tools.

• Good understanding of BOQ preparation, wiring diagrams, and technical submittals.

• Experience in tender handling and technical/commercial offer preparation is mandatory.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
