Electrical and Instrumentation Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation solutions
• Select and specify electrical equipment, instruments, and automation components
• Develop and implement control systems, including PLC programming and SCADA systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and process systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues
• Develop and maintain documentation, including electrical drawings and technical manuals
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on instrumentation and automation in the manufacturing sector
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis and design
• Excellent understanding of instrumentation and automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, and actuators
• Experience with industrial automation protocols, such as Modbus and Profibus
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations, such as NFPA and OSHA
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
