About the Role

Millie's British International School (MBIS) is seeking experienced and committed Nursery Teachers to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. We welcome applications from qualified Early Years Educators with a strong passion for early childhood development and an understanding of the British Early Years Curriculum.

Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting and extending the learning of children aged 3 to 5 years through high-quality teaching, play-based learning, and nurturing care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and play-based learning experiences for children aged 3–5 years
• Support children's emotional, social, and educational development
• Teach phonics, early mathematics, and literacy using developmentally appropriate strategies
• Support handwriting development in young learners
• Design and maintain stimulating classroom displays of a high standard
• Create vibrant indoor and outdoor learning environments
• Engage and motivate young learners through creative and innovative lesson planning
• Tailor lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of all learners

Essential Requirements

• Minimum academic qualification: B.Ed., B.A., B.Sc., HND, or PGDE in Early Childhood Education or English from a recognised institution
• Minimum 2–3 years post-qualification experience in a similar role
• Demonstrable understanding of the British Early Years Curriculum
• Ability to teach phonics, or willingness to be trained in phonics instruction
• Competence in teaching early mathematics and literacy with understanding of developmentally appropriate teaching strategies
• Experience in supporting handwriting development in young learners
• Creative teaching skills in music, dance, drama, and arts & crafts
• Excellent English language skills (written, spoken, and reading)
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, internet browsing)
• Strong classroom management and effective teaching skills
• Enthusiastic, innovative, and dynamic approach to teaching
