About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join News Central TV in Lagos as a Driver/Bike Rider.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport company staff from specified locations in a timely manner
• Fulfill administrative needs, including office pickups
• Assist with loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials
• Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion and road construction
• Use navigation applications to determine the best routes
• Interact with other staff professionally at all times
• Ensure the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
• Promptly inform management of any traffic tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours
• Ensure the company vehicle is always parked in designated parking areas to avoid towing
• Keep the company vehicle clean and properly maintained through regular washing and vehicle maintenance
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate mileage and repair records
• Provide accurate time records of the company vehicle's movements
• Report any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with at least 5 years of professional driving experience
• Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes
• Ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals
• Education that allows for clear and effective communication
