Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Driver to safely transport students to and from school, on field trips, and other activities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience driving a school bus or other passenger service buses, along with a valid commercial driver's license and the patience and calm demeanor required when transporting a bus full of school children.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, on field trips, and other activities using designated routes and schedules
• Conduct daily safety and operational checks on the assigned vehicle to ensure it is in good working order
• Learn and follow designated routes and schedules, and plan necessary stops for field trips
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as district policies governing student transportation
• Maintain order and enforce discipline among student passengers

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE qualification
• Valid Driver's license
• Excellent driving skills
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
• Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
• Prior experience driving a school bus or other passenger service buses (preferred)
