Drilling Engineer / Specialist III at Habrams Energy

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide the engineering planning, design, surveillance, and follow-up required for the safe and efficient drilling and completing of drilling programs. You will ensure well objectives are met while maintaining the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection.

Main Functions

• Provide technical expertise on drilling engineering to the Operations and Development teams
• Oversee engineering planning, design, surveillance, and follow-up for drilling programs
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental protection standards

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Level 3 specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare Drilling Basis of Design documentation including Casing Design, Torque/Drag, and Hydraulics
• Develop functional specifications and scopes of work for equipment and services
• Make continuous effort to improve regional well construction performance

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or related technical field
• Experience with well planning and execution
• Experience with international assignments
• Fluent English (read, write, and speak)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in deep water drilling operations
• Proficiency with well design software and Microsoft applications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
