About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and highly responsible Dispatch Rider to handle the swift and safe transportation of goods, documents, and packages to our clients across Lagos. This role is the face of our logistics operation and requires excellent communication and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery and Logistics

• Collect and deliver various packages, documents, and items promptly and safely to assigned destinations
• Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain an accurate log of all deliveries and pick-ups, including delivery times, recipient names, and signatures
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, sensitive documents, and high-value goods

Safety and Vehicle Management

• Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company operating standards
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the motorcycle to ensure it is in excellent working condition
• Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or delays to the supervisor
• Ensure the motorcycle is kept clean and presentable at all times

Communication and Reporting

• Communicate professionally and courteously with clients and colleagues
• Use communication tools (mobile apps, radio, phone) effectively to update the logistics team on delivery status and location
• Manage time effectively to meet tight delivery deadlines and optimize travel routes

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE)
• Proven experience as a Dispatch Rider or similar courier role in a high-traffic environment (highly preferred)
• Valid Rider's Permit / Class A Driving License issued by Nigerian authorities (mandatory)

Required Skills

• Excellent knowledge of Lagos metropolis roads and routes
• High degree of professionalism, punctuality, and responsibility
