Director of Procurement

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and experienced Purchaser to align with procurement needs, execute the procurement process, control procurement quality, and maintain supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities:

• 1Align with procurement need; collect material requirements and organize a demand list

• Execute the procurement process; select local suppliers, compare prices and negotiate, sign contracts, and follow up on material deliveries

• Control procurement quality; inspect received materials, verify specifications, and handle returns or replacements

• Maintain supplier relationship; communicate with suppliers, update the supplier database, and control procurement costs

Requirements:

• College degree or above, over 8 year of procurement related experience; experience in free trade zones or corporate procurement is preferred

• Familiar with the local Nigeria procurement market and supply chain, able to compare prices and negotiate

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Yoruba is a plus

• Detail oriented, meticulous, responsible, honest and trustworthy, proficient in using office software
