About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Diction Instructor to teach proper pronunciation, intonation, and articulation to pupils across different age groups. This position offers the opportunity to develop confident speakers and readers through engaging, creative instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach proper pronunciation, intonation, and articulation to pupils across different age groups
• Develop and deliver engaging diction lessons using creative and interactive teaching methods
• Integrate diction training into daily school activities and other subject areas
• Help pupils build confidence in reading aloud, speaking, and public presentation
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupils' progress in spoken English and diction
• Collaborate with teachers to support pupils' language development in line with Montessori/EYFS standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of NCE qualification, B.Ed. Degree, or any relevant qualification in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
• Proven experience as a diction/phonics instructor in a reputable school
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with clear and fluent spoken English
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage children creatively

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Montessori and EYFS methods
