An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Position Overview:
  • We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Development Manager with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the real estate housing industry.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing the end-to-end development process, from site acquisition to project completion, and possess a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management:
  • Lead the entire development process, from site selection and due diligence to design, construction, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee the preparation of project feasibility studies, financial models, and investment proposals.
Site Acquisition and Due Diligence:
  • Identify and evaluate potential development sites in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and feasibility analyses to assess the viability of new projects.
  • Negotiate land acquisitions and manage legal and financial due diligence processes.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local universities and landowners
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including design, construction, and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of relevant regulations and physical planning requirements to ensure all projects comply with legal requirements.
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities.
Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control measures.
  • Monitor project expenditures and financial performance against budgeted parameters.
Quality Control and Sustainability:
  • Uphold quality standards and ensure adherence to sustainable building practices in all projects.
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes to deliver projects that exceed expectations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate development.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing residential developments from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
