About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to serve as Deputy Provost at Lily Hospitals Limited in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Deputy Provost will play a critical role in supporting the Provost in the strategic planning and administration of academic affairs. You will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the designated campus and acting on behalf of the Provost as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Provost in strategic planning and administration of academic affairs
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the designated campus
• Act on behalf of the Provost as necessary
• Lead and manage academic operations and initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse/Midwife with a minimum of a second-class Honors Degree in Nursing
• Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field from a recognized institution
• Teaching qualification such as PGDE or Diploma in Education for Nurse/Midwife Educator
• Current license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant working and teaching experience as a Nurse
• At least 2 years of experience at a managerial level, preferably in a tertiary institution
• Proficiency in ICT and competency in relevant basic digital skills applicable to modern management systems
• Reputable character and behavior
• Physical fitness for the role

Terms of Appointment

• Tenure appointment for an initial period of four (4) years
• Re-appointment for an additional four-year period may be considered following satisfactory performance
