Job Summary

The Data Scientist & Digital Transformation Consultant will leverage advanced data analytics and digital technologies to drive evidence-based decision-making and modernisation of systems. The role will focus on transforming legacy processes into digital-first infrastructures while supporting data-driven policy design, programme monitoring, and impact measurement.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree in any related field (advantageous)

Required Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience in data science or digital transformation
• Familiarity with donor-funded projects and development sector data requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in statistical and machine learning tools (Python, R, SQL)
• Experience with data governance, privacy standards, and policy analytics
• Proven ability to translate complex data into accessible insights
• Strong understanding of digital platforms, cloud solutions, and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau)
