About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Fintrak Software. This role is best suited for an analytical thinker who is eager to grow in data analysis, visualization, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background and a keen interest in leveraging data to drive insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Support business teams with actionable data-driven insights and recommendations
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
• Perform statistical analyses and predictive modeling to support business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy
• Document data processes and analysis methods for transparency and reproducibility
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through data insights and automation

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics (minimum Second Class Lower (2:2))

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant work experience as a Data Analyst, Data Associate, or similar role

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data manipulation techniques
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio
• Familiarity with data cleaning and data transformation techniques
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis and tools (e.g., Python, R, or SPSS) is an added advantage
