Position Overview
Nelson Courier seeks a dedicated Customer Service Officer to provide excellent customer support by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves effective communication with customers and maintaining a positive company image at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customer inquiries in person, by phone, email, or online platforms
- Provide accurate information about company products and services
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly
- Record and update customer information in company systems
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Handle orders, returns, and customer requests
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department
- Maintain proper documentation of customer interactions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in customer service or a related role is an advantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Basic computer knowledge (email, CRM systems, MS Office)
