Credit and Risk Executive at Stateside Microfinance Bank

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. As a Credit and Risk Executive, you will be responsible for managing and controlling credit risk by evaluating creditworthiness, mitigating potential risks, and making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct credit assessments and evaluate customer creditworthiness
• Monitor credit performance and ensure compliance with bank policies and standards
• Perform financial analysis to support credit decisions
• Provide customer service and support throughout the credit process
• Identify and mitigate potential credit risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven credit control and credit management skills
• Strong analytical and finance expertise
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong decision-making capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in the banking or finance industry (preferred)
