About the Role
Uniccon Group's Robotics Division is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Control Systems Engineer. You will design, develop, and implement advanced control algorithms to enhance the precision, stability, and intelligence of robotic systems. Working closely with mechanical, embedded systems, and software teams, you will develop and deploy robust, real-time control solutions for robotic platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, model, and implement control algorithms (PID, LQR, MPC, adaptive control, etc.) for robotic and mechatronic systems
- Develop motion control solutions for manipulators, drones, and mobile robots
- Perform system modeling, simulation, and performance analysis using MATLAB/Simulink or Python
- Integrate control systems into embedded platforms or real-time frameworks (e.g., ROS)
- Conduct system identification, parameter tuning, and stability verification
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure control solutions align with mechanical and electrical designs
- Optimize control performance through experimental testing and data analysis
- Research and apply modern techniques such as reinforcement learning and AI-based control for robotic applications
- Document control architectures, experimental setups, and performance outcomes
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in control systems design, modeling, and implementation
- Proven experience working on robotic or automation projects
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of control theory, system dynamics, and state-space modeling
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C/C++ for control design and simulation
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems
