Contracting and Procurement Lead at Daiik Engineering Ltd

About the Role

We are seeking a suitably qualified Contracting and Procurement Lead to manage contracting and procurement activities for a Shallow water Major Project in-country scope, including Pipelines EPC and in-country fabrication.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute Project Contracting and Procurement activities, ensuring business delivery while protecting Company interests, mitigating risks, and achieving On-Stream Date (OSD) objectives
• Manage Fabrication (EPF) contracts to ensure business delivery and project scope execution, with focus on project plans, supply chain risk mitigation, and achieving lower cost and schedule baselines
• Drive successful project delivery with maximum value through EPCIC Contract implementation and execution of approved CP Strategy and Tactics
• Deliver superior post-award contract management during project execution, including contracts administration for third party services and materials in compliance with cost and schedule plans
• Competitively benchmark contractor proposals from a value-based perspective and drive application of the most competitive supply chains
• Resolve commercial and contractual issues with contractors regarding terms and conditions in collaboration with legal, risk, and insurance specialists
• Develop and implement project management and health check systems covering interface management, risk/opportunity assessment, permits and consents, cost, schedule/progress, Quality, HSE (HSE MS, HSE Case, Goal Zero), and Monitoring/Reporting
• Maintain close working relationships with Package Leads, Project Team, and Project Manager to ensure aligned delivery and focused execution
• Build and maintain good relationships with contractors and other stakeholders
