Consultant Neurologist at Dukes Neurosurgery and Specialist Hospital

About the Role

We are seeking a Consultant Neurologist to join our dynamic team at our Lagos facility. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with neurological disorders while contributing to our commitment to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and neurological examinations
• Interpret diagnostic tests including EEG, NCS, and EMG
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in ongoing research and innovation initiatives within the neurology department

Required Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
• Fellowship or Postgraduate qualification in Neurology (e.g., FWACP, FMCP, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3–5 years post-fellowship experience in Neurology practice, preferably in a tertiary or specialist hospital
• Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, neuropathies, movement disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases
