Role Summary
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of QSR construction projects, ensuring each outlet is delivered on time, within budget, and to brand and quality standards. This role focuses on managing multiple similar projects efficiently while coordinating contractors, suppliers, landlords, and internal teams. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple QSR construction projects from site handover to store opening
- Plan and control project schedules, budgets, and resources for new builds and refurbishments
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, and fit-out teams
- Ensure all outlets are built consistently to approved brand, layout, and design standards
- Ensure all artisans and trades work in line with delivering a fully functional space that supports operational, workflow, and service requirements
- Oversee site progress through regular site visits and meetings
- Manage permits, inspections, and compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Control costs, approve invoices, and manage variations and change orders
- Identify risks early and implement practical solutions to avoid delays
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably in QSR, retail, or hospitality rollouts
- Strong understanding of fit-out, refurbishment, and fast-track construction projects
- Ability to manage multiple similar projects simultaneously
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, building services, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
