Computer Studies Teacher at S-TEE Schools

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Computer Studies Teacher to join S-TEE Schools in Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for developing students' interest in and ability to understand and apply knowledge of Computer Studies through engaging and coherent instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, coherent, and motivating lessons to students across varying classes
• Create detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives
• Oversee the provision of relevant and up-to-date advice and support to pupils in the subject
• Coordinate the selection and development of appropriate syllabuses and courses in line with available resources
• Maintain full and accurate records of students' achievements in Computer Studies
• Utilize learning technology in the planning and delivery of lessons
• Plan for, provide, and maintain physical resources necessary for learning (including books, past papers, file shares, furniture, and equipment)
• Liaise with other departments to ensure adequate resources where necessary
• Stay current with curriculum changes and reforms
• Undertake additional roles as required by the department or wider school environment
• Perform any other duties relating to the position as required by the Head of School, Head of Department, or Principal

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
