About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. As Compounding Weighing Lead, you will oversee the weighing team and ensure accurate, timely weighing of raw materials according to the production plan. You will also be responsible for the calibration and maintenance of all weighing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the weighing team, providing direction and guidance on accurate raw material weighing as per production plans and weighing sheets
• Maintain the safety culture of the weighing area and ensure strict adherence to chemical usage safety protocols with reference to MSDS
• Monitor and maintain healthy stock levels of all raw materials, promptly reporting inadequate stock holding to ensure material availability in coordination with production plans
• Manage material receipt from warehouse, ensuring all related documents and SAP transactions are completed in a timely manner according to procedures
• Oversee staging of all weighed materials, ensuring accurate handover to the mixing team as per procedure
• Maintain all weighing documentation, conducting continuous review to match with actual process
• Ensure 5S compliance and good hygiene conditions in the weighing and staging areas, with all materials properly tagged
• Drive accurate raw material stock counts and achieve zero material wastage
• Adhere strictly to proper process order and maintain comprehensive documentation at all times
• Perform calibration and maintenance of all weighing equipment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum BSC, HND, or ND in Physical Sciences or Engineering (Electrical/Electronics or Production)
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience in FMCG or cosmetics industries
• Good knowledge of standard software such as MS Office
• Knowledge of SAP systems (tools requisition)
• Knowledge of TPM tools
• Ability to take on technical projects

N165,000 net monthly
