LinkOrg Networks is a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) seeking a Company Lawyer to join our innovative team in Lagos, Nigeria.

Job Summary

The Company Lawyer is responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and guidance, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations while protecting the company's interests. This role involves advising on various legal matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts on behalf of the company
• Draft terms and conditions for company products
• Represent the company in court proceedings and legal disputes
• Provide expert legal advice to senior management on corporate governance, commercial contracts, labor law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure the company complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action
• Develop and oversee systems that ensure compliance with all applicable codes, legal, and statutory requirements
• Ensure the company's operations comply with applicable laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution
• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice law in Nigeria (called to bar)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
• Strong understanding of Nigerian telecommunications laws and regulations
• Experience in the telecommunications sector is preferred
• Master's degree (LL.M) is an advantage
