About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to ensure the financial health and compliance of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Accountant will play a key role in managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and other financial transactions
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts, identifying areas of concern or opportunity
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and assist with tax preparation and filing
• Coordinate and support external audits, as well as implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and other financial improvements
• Manage vendor relationships, oversee invoice processing, and ensure timely payment to vendors
• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals
• Utilize financial software and tools to streamline financial processes and reporting
• Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations, ensuring adherence to best practices
