About the Role
We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Community Feedback Mechanism Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing community feedback and complaints while ensuring transparent communication and timely resolution of concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain community feedback and complaint channels (hotlines, helpdesk, suggestion boxes, etc.)
- Record, categorize, and track all feedback and complaints in a confidential database
- Refer issues to relevant departments and ensure timely follow-up and resolution
- Provide feedback to communities on actions taken in response to their concerns
- Support awareness sessions to inform communities about their rights and available feedback options
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Communication, Community Development, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in accountability, community engagement, or MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning)
- Experience in NGO settings preferred
- Strong understanding of Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) and humanitarian principles
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools (e.g., Kobo, Excel, or CRM systems)
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and ethically
