## Title: Commodity Sales & Channel Development Lead

Magodo, Phase 2, Lagos, Nigeria

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking an experienced professional to lead commodity sales and channel development initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the commodities sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process for rice and other commodities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and market share targets
  • Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, wholesalers, and key channel partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, traders, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and emerging trends
  • Monitor competitors and recommend strategies to stay ahead in the market
  • Manage pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in commodity sales, with at least 2 years selling rice
  • Strong network of distributors, wholesalers, and buyers in the rice market
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets

  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen and market insight
  • Ability to work independently and lead a sales team
