Cleaner / Housekeeper at Milestone Hotel

About the Role

Milestone Boutique Apartments is excited to announce the opening of our brand-new property. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team. As a Cleaner/Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and comfortable for our guests, contributing to an exceptional experience in the hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented
• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a pristine environment throughout the premises
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and toilets to the highest standard
• Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Follow established cleaning protocols and health regulations to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
• Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring timely turnaround of linens and guest clothing
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests or concerns in a friendly and professional manner

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality or hotel industry (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Passion for hospitality and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
