About the Role

An established company is recruiting a Civil/Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to lead engineering projects from conception through completion while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, design, and review detailed engineering drawings, plans, and project specifications
• Supervise construction and installation works to ensure adherence to approved designs and safety standards
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations
• Coordinate and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline compliance
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Prepare periodic technical reports and documentation

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution
• Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in engineering design, construction, or industrial project management
• Proficiency in engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or STAAD Pro
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification or registration with COREN or other relevant professional bodies
