Civil Engineer - Office Design

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Civil Engineer to lead civil engineering activities across all project phases, from FEED through detailed engineering and EPC execution. You will take primary responsibility for the design, supervision, and quality assurance of structural and civil works on industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering activities for FEED, detailed engineering, and EPC execution phases
• Prepare civil drawings, structural design calculations, and technical specifications
• Supervise construction of foundations, structures, buildings, roads, and drainage systems
• Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and electrical teams on structural support and interfaces
• Review vendor drawings and documents related to civil and structural works
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to timelines and specifications
• Conduct site inspections, report progress, and resolve technical issues
• Ensure proper material selection, testing, and quality control procedures
• Participate in HSE and environmental compliance audits
• Provide input for project cost estimation, bill of quantities (BOQ), and procurement activities
• Support commissioning and handover of civil structures to operations

Required Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in civil engineering for industrial, chemical, or process plants
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC project execution
• Demonstrated expertise in structural design for heavy chemical equipment, foundations, and pipe racks
• Proven hands-on experience with site supervision, contractor management, and quality control
• Experience managing FEED and EPC civil work execution
• Exposure to chemical process plants (preferred)

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Expert knowledge of structural design codes and industrial foundations
• Expertise in structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel structures for industrial plants
• Proficiency in civil works design and execution for industrial applications
• Proven ability in process optimization and efficiency improvement
