Civil Engineer at Bedrock Multi Functions

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team at Bedrock Multi Functions in Lagos, Nigeria. In this position, you will manage and coordinate civil engineering activities for telecom infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate activities of civil contractors for telecom projects
• Review contractor schedules, track milestones, and ensure project timelines are met
• Validate contractor reports and escalate delays or non-compliance issues
• Review and draft technical documents, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Monitor and ensure all project activities adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures
• Participate in internal project review meetings and maintain up-to-date project dashboards
• Generate progress reports, contractor evaluation summaries, and HSE compliance records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and operations for effective project execution
• Maintain project documentation and version control for all civil works

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or telecom project environments
• Basic understanding of project lifecycle, milestone planning, and HSE best practices
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Project
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
