About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Civil/Building Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering projects, preparing structural designs, and ensuring all work is executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects from conception to completion
• Prepare structural designs and detailed technical drawings
• Interact with clients to interpret their needs and requirements through structural drawings
• Review engineering tasks and implement necessary measures to prevent errors
• Ensure all project works are executed timely according to specifications
• Maintain proper management and care of construction materials
• Initiate and perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure project goals are met
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department and management

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and professional experience in civil or building engineering
• Sound knowledge of structural design and technical drawings
• COREN certification (advantageous)

Compensation

N200,000 - N250,000 per month
