Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Chief Security Officer to oversee outbound goods security within a pharmaceutical environment. The role involves supervising security personnel, verifying all pharmaceutical products leaving the premises, and ensuring strict compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Goods & Order Security

• Cross-check all pharmaceutical products leaving the facility against approved invoices, delivery notes, batch records, and waybills
• Verify product names, batch numbers, quantities, and packaging integrity before dispatch
• Ensure only authorized and released products exit the premises in line with Quality Assurance approval

Security Supervision

• Supervise security personnel assigned to the premises
• Ensure staff adhere strictly to pharmaceutical security protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Monitor conduct and report breaches, negligence, or non-compliance

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate logs for dispatched goods, vehicles, and drivers
• Ensure compliance with internal security requirements
• Report discrepancies, damaged products, or suspected diversion immediately

Asset Protection

• Prevent theft, diversion, contamination, or unauthorized movement of pharmaceutical products
• Enforce controlled access to dispatch, warehouse, and loading areas

Required Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of OND (National Diploma) qualification; additional certifications are advantageous
• Experience in pharmaceutical, warehouse, or regulated-environment security preferred
• Ability to read and verify pharmaceutical documentation
• High integrity, attention to detail, and strong supervisory skills
