## Title: Chief Operating Officer

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Chief Operating Officer to lead all Nigerian operations and drive operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all Nigerian operations across Creative, Digital, HR, Procurement, Project Management, and Client Services
  • Build scalable systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that support consistent delivery quality and efficiency across all projects and retainers
  • Translate the Group's vision into clear operational goals, departmental scorecards, and measurable performance outcomes
  • Oversee a robust Project Management Office (PMO) that ensures every project is delivered on time, on scope, and on budget
  • Implement project tracking, risk management, and reporting systems to improve delivery accuracy and reduce bottlenecks
  • Partner with Creative, Digital, and Client Services leads to forecast workloads, allocate resources, and maintain high utilization (70–90%)
  • Own the Nigerian P&L, driving revenue growth, cost efficiency, and sustainable profitability across all brands and ventures
  • Collaborate with the Chief Growth Officer on new business onboarding, guaranteeing operational readiness and seamless client handover
  • Operationalize Growth Authority's membership, content, and SaaS infrastructure
  • Implement scalable workflows for toolkit creation, community management, and paid membership operations
  • Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Growth Officer on monetization strategy and user growth targets
  • Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer to operationalize strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 12–18 years of senior management experience in digital agencies, creative networks, consulting, or tech-enabled organizations, with proven P&L ownership
  • Demonstrated success scaling operations, launching new business units, and driving consistent profitability
  • Deep understanding of project management, agency workflows, and operational finance
  • Track record of leading complex, cross-functional teams and maintaining high standards of delivery
  • Familiarity with EOS, OKRs, or other performance frameworks
