About the Role

KloudOpp Limited is seeking a strategic, highly experienced Chief Legal Officer to lead the company's legal, compliance, and corporate governance functions.

The CLO will provide legal guidance at the executive level, mitigate legal risks, ensure regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions of operation, and support strategic business decisions including partnerships, investments, and corporate transactions.

About You

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably with experience in FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, Logistics Tech, or enterprise technology companies, and has worked with high-revenue organizations or global firms.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Governance & Legal Strategy

• Advise the Board and executive team on corporate governance matters
• Develop and implement company-wide legal policies and compliance programs
• Ensure the company operates in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards

Contract Management & Negotiations

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MOUs with partners, vendors, and clients
• Structure deals to mitigate risk while maximizing value for the company
• Provide legal guidance on partnerships, investments, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local and international laws, including fintech, data protection, privacy, and labor regulations
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise the company on necessary operational adjustments
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and external counsel

Risk Management

• Identify potential legal and regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Develop company policies and procedures to minimize legal exposure
• Support internal investigations and litigation management as needed

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the legal team
