Key Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry and Mathematics effectively at the secondary school level
• Prepare lesson plans in line with the approved curriculum and school standards
• Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that promote understanding and critical thinking
• Assess, record, and report students' academic progress accurately
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations
• Maintain discipline and create a positive, supportive classroom environment
• Support students' academic growth, character development, and confidence
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and learning outcomes
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum B.Sc. or B.Ed. in Chemistry, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Chemistry and/or Mathematics at the secondary school level
• Strong subject mastery and effective classroom management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to students' success

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching certification (TRCN)
• Passion for teaching, learning, and continuous professional development
