This vacancy presents a chance to join a leading organization. Locations: Lagos Mainland, Lagos Island - Lagos and Ibadan - Oyo Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a results-driven Category Sales Manager to lead and grow our category performance in Lagos and Oyo, respectively.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years of category management experience. Experience in spice sales will be an added advantage.
  • This role requires strategic thinking, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive sales growth while managing key accounts and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute category sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the category.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to implement category plans.
  • Manage key accounts, including negotiations, promotions, and trade marketing activities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
  • Mentor and coach junior sales team members within the category.
Requirements:
  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of category sales experience in the FMCG sector.
  • Experience in spice sales is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales analytics tools.
  • Experience in the respective locations.
Salary N250,000 - N400,000 / Month.
