Position Overview:
- We are seeking a results-driven Category Sales Manager to lead and grow our category performance in Lagos and Oyo, respectively.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years of category management experience. Experience in spice sales will be an added advantage.
- This role requires strategic thinking, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive sales growth while managing key accounts and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute category sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the category.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to implement category plans.
- Manage key accounts, including negotiations, promotions, and trade marketing activities.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
- Mentor and coach junior sales team members within the category.
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of category sales experience in the FMCG sector.
- Experience in spice sales is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales analytics tools.
- Experience in the respective locations.
