Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter/Joiner to join our growing team in Lagos. You will manufacture, assemble, and install bespoke furniture pieces that showcase our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, and install bespoke furniture pieces such as wardrobes, kitchens, cabinets, and other joinery items
• Read and interpret technical drawings and design plans accurately
• Work with a range of materials including MDF, solid wood, laminate, and veneers
• Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, edge banders, CNC routers, and other workshop tools safely and efficiently
• Carry out precise measuring, cutting, and finishing to ensure high-quality standards
• Collaborate with designers and installers to achieve excellent fit and finish
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards
• Conduct quality checks before installation or delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, Bench Joiner, or Cabinet Maker in a furniture or joinery workshop
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, machinery, and materials
• Ability to work from technical drawings with attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit with excellent hand-eye coordination
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent experience (preferred)
