Cardiologist at Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Clinic

About the Role

Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Cardiologist to provide specialized cardiovascular care, support accurate diagnosis, and deliver evidence-based treatment for patients with heart and vascular conditions. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and world-class patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular and related conditions
• Conduct and interpret cardiovascular diagnostic tests including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, and Holter monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans for cardiac patients
• Perform or support interventional and non-interventional cardiac procedures as applicable
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in emergency cardiac care, including on-call and acute response services
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in line with hospital policies
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous medical education
• Uphold ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and professional best practices

Requirements & Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Postgraduate qualification in Cardiology
• Full registration and valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
• Minimum of 3–5 years' post-fellowship experience (preferred)
• Proven expertise in cardiovascular diagnostics and patient management
• Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
