About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a skilled and passionate Cake and Cookie Baker to join their growing bakery operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for baking and decorating cakes, preparing cookies, and ensuring all baked goods meet high-quality standards. This role requires creativity, precision, and a solid understanding of baking techniques and food safety.

Location & Compensation

Location: Agbede, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria

Salary Range: ₦50,000 – ₦70,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, mix, and bake cakes, cookies, and other pastries according to recipes and production standards
• Bake a variety of cake flavors (vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, etc.) and different types of cookies (chocolate chip, milk cookies, etc.)
• Decorate cakes and pastries attractively while maintaining quality and consistency
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality and presentation requirements
• Properly store ingredients and baked goods to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation at all times
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations
• Conduct regular checks to ensure all baking equipment is clean and functioning properly

Requirements

• Must reside in or around Agbede, Ikorodu
• Minimum of 2 years' baking experience in a professional setting
• Strong knowledge of baking fundamentals, cake preparation, and decoration techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and passion for creating quality baked products
• Certification from a culinary school is an added advantage
