Cake Baker & Decorator at Mosun Cafe Bakery

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled cake baker and decorator who can craft stunning cakes for birthdays, weddings, events, and everyday celebrations. You'll be responsible for baking high-quality cakes, creating smooth finishes, and designing beautiful decorations that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Bake cakes, cupcakes, and pastries according to recipes and customer specifications
• Decorate cakes using buttercream, fondant, piping, sculpting, edible prints, and other design techniques
• Create custom cake designs based on client requests
• Maintain high standards of taste, texture, and presentation
• Manage kitchen prep, ingredient measurement, and stock rotation
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all orders
• Collaborate with the team to develop new products and seasonal designs

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cake baker and/or cake decorator (portfolio required)
• Strong skills in buttercream and fondant work
• Ability to work with precision, speed, and creativity
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and busy seasons when required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
