  • The Business Lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities for the agency.
  • This role bridges strategy, sales, and client management, ensuring the firm’s offerings are effectively positioned and consistently converted into profitable engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities aligned with the agency’s strategic goals
  • Develop growth strategies across existing and new markets
  • Lead pitch development, proposals, and contract negotiations
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients
  • Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling services
  • Ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention
  • Translate client needs into clear briefs for internal teams
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Contribute to agency positioning, pricing strategies, and service innovation
  • Work closely with creative, media, strategy, and operations teams to shape compelling value propositions & ensure seamless delivery
  • Support leadership in setting revenue targets and performance metrics & tracking business development performance against targets
  • Represent the agency at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities
  • Prepare regular reports on wins/losses
  • Use insights to refine strategy, sales and growth approaches.

  • New business revenue generated
  • Client retention and account growth
  • Conversion rate of pitches and proposals
  • Strength and value of sales pipeline
  • Contribution to overall agency growth.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in client service, business development, sales within a marketing, advertising, or creative agency
  • Strong understanding of marketing, influencers, digital, and advertising services
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset
  • Ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and pipeline management skills.
